Coversure Hull’s MD Sleeps Rough To Help Hull’s Homeless

I’ve been proud to call Hull my home for many years now. I love this and the regeneration it’s seen since being named as the UK City Of Culture has truly warmed my heart. The city’s prosperity has not been universally enjoyed though. Despite the property boom and Hull’s emergence as a housing hotspot the number of people sleeping rough in the city has reached an all-time high in 2018. According to local homeless charity HARP, the number of rough sleepers in Hull has quadrupled in just seven years. This leaves Hull having the second highest level of homelessness in Yorkshire - a situation described as a “catastrophe” by a national homelessness charity.
