Coversure Grantham Helps Grantham Swimming Club Secure £3,000 Grant
Coversure Grantham is proud to announce that its application to the Allianz Sports Fund for a grant for Grantham Swimming Club has been successful. The Allianz Sports Fund allows Allianz brokers, such as Coversure Grantham, to apply for funding for grassroots sporting organizations. Since its inception, it has provided over £200,000 of funding to UK sports, and now the Grantham Swimming Club will receive £3,000 to continue its outstanding community work.
Coversure Grantham: A Community Broker That’s Committed To Its Community
When Allianz announced their Sports Fund 2023, the team knew they wanted to get involved, and a timely email from the Club asking for help gave them the perfect opportunity to do so. As Dan Davies of Coversure Grantham explains:
‘Coversure Grantham was founded in 2000 as a community insurance broker, and over the years, we’ve helped and supported several local good causes. The Grantham Swimming Club does great work – especially for younger swimmers – and I was only too happy put the application in. The whole team is absolutely delighted that the Club has been awarded £3,000, and we’ll do all we can to support them in the future.’
Grantham Swimming Club’s Communications Manager Alanna Gleave added:
‘Grantham Swimming Club is thrilled to have been awarded £3000 by the Allianz Sports Fund. This funding will make a huge difference to GSC, especially during this time of rising energy costs which is putting swimming pools and swimming clubs at risk. We are so grateful to Coversure Grantham for supporting our application and for their agreement to provide ongoing sponsorship for GSC. With Allianz’s and Coversure Grantham’s support, we are in a much better position to remain able to continue to provide high-quality, competitive swimming opportunities for local young people.’
