Mel, Ciara and the Coversure Teddington team recently hosted an incredibly important Cybersecurity event aimed at helping their local community of businesses stay ahead of Cyber threats. With Cyber-attacks becoming more sophisticated, companies must understand the risks and adopt best practices to protect their data, customers, and operations.
Joined by SCG (a leading provider of cloud, telecoms, mobile and IoT solutions &services), the Coversure Teddington team spent the morning providing business owners with a comprehensive overview of common cybersecurity threats, including phishing attacks, malware and ransomware.
Using case studies to highlight how businesses, both large and small, have fallen victim to Cyber crime, they were able to educate the business owners in the room about practical strategies to improve awareness, recognise red flags and avoid costly mistakes.
A key focus of the event was a discussion on Cyber Insurance, explaining how getting the right coverage can help businesses mitigate any financial losses they may incur from cyber incidents.
