Coversure Nottingham’s franchise holder has undertaken a personal challenge to run 10k in aid of Buses4Homeless as part of the charity initiative set up by The Property Entrepreneur called “Get Up Give Back”.
Paul became involved with Property Entrepreneur as their insurance partner back in October 2019 and each year they partner with a charity. This time they picked Buses4Homeless and they are looking to raise £130,000 to cover the cost of land and 4 buses to support homeless people with spaces for eating, sleeping, wellbeing and learning in order to re-engage people back into the community.
Stepping Out To Help Those Sleeping Out
Commenting on his latest charitable endeavour, Paul said:
“As most of my friends and family will testify, I am not a runner, but being able to do something to give back and support such a worthwhile cause has given me the motivation to take to the streets and start my training. Even the recent rain has not stopped me from getting in training runs after work. From a non-runner at the start, I am now up to 6K and on track to be able to run the 10K in April.”
“Why am I doing this, well it’s a small price to pay if I can raise the £1000 towards a grand total of £130,000 that myself and 70 property entrepreneurs are trying to raise to build an end to end rehabilitation unit for the homeless. I was out in the horrible wind and rain for 40 minutes, imagine being out all night.”
