We are delighted to announce that Coversure Hull has acquired fellow Hull insurance brokers Wilberforce Insurance’s client base. The acquisition is part of Coversure Hull’s founder Andy Price’s strategic plan for post-pandemic growth. Coversure Hull is well-known locally and nationally for its commercial vehicle, fleet, and truck insurance services. The acquisition of Wilberforce’s business with its focus on taxi, travel, and landlord insurance will create a one-stop insurance shop for the people and companies of Hull and East Yorkshire.
Coversure Hull: ‘Buy-to-Build’
This is the third acquisition Andy has made in the past three years. In 2019 he acquired Coversure Grantham, and in 2020 he took over North Lincs Insurance in Cleethorpes, which became Coversure North Lincs as part of a buy-to-build strategy.

All-Change, No-Change
To ensure continued client service, Andy plans to keep the Wilberforce office in Kingston House, 50 Bond Street, Hull, open alongside his main office at Dunston House, Livingstone Road, Hessle. This will allow him to operate a two-centre site that will make it even easier for business, commercial vehicle, and landlord insurance customers to access the great value insurance quotes.
