Is Coversure still open?

Yes! Although our teams are working remotely, Coversure is still open for business and we're here should you need any help, advice or an insurance quote.

How can I contact Coversure?

Your local office can be contacted on the usual number and email address. Alternatively, you can use our new online portal where you can have a live chat with the team, send the office a message or request a quote.

Can I access my policy documents online?

Yes, you can log into our customer portal to view your policy documents. Should you need to make any changes to these you will need to contact your local office who will be able to deal with any amendments and answer any specific questions you may have.

I'm worried I might not be able to pay for my insurance, what should I do?

We are here to help. If you have been adversely affected by the Coronavirus - including any financial impact - then please get in touch. You can also find great independent advice through the Money Advice Service and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

I need to make a change to my policy due to Coronavirus, what should I do?

You may find yourself having to change the way you work or how you use your car and home due to the Coronavirus. If this is the case, then please make sure you contact us and tell us what changes need to be made. We can make sure your policy covers you for any change in circumstances and also offer you advice on how your insurance may be impacted by these changes.

How do I report a claim?

Information on how to report a claim can be found in your policy wording. Please refer to this document if you need to make a claim. You can also contact us and we'll be happy to help. If you've been involved in a motor accident, then you can call our dedicated Claimsline on 0333 323 0966.

Do I need to tell you if I get Coronavirus?

No, but you should keep up-to-date with the Government's advice and make sure you're doing everything you can to stay safe.

If I have to self-isolate for months can I suspend my cover, or get a refund on my insurance?

You won't be able to suspend cover on your existing policy; however, you can cancel it if absolutely necessary. You will need to refer to your policy wording for cancellation terms and there will likely be a charge for the length of time you were insured for as well as any applicable fees.

Do remember that your insurance may be a legal requirement. For other essential insurances, it is important to ensure that you have continual cover even if your circumstances may have changed temporarily. If you are unsure as to which insurances you need to keep in place, then please contact Coversure and we will be happy to help you.

I no longer need insurance due to Coronavirus; how do I cancel my policy?

You can get in contact by phone or email to cancel your policy. We can advise on what the best course of action is when we speak to you and we can explore all available options with you.

Will my home insurance be affected if I haven't told you I'm working from home?

If you are an employee and are now working remotely but you are unsure as to whether you are insured to do so, then please get in touch.

If you own your own business and are now working from home, you may require insurance to cover business use. To find out if you require any additional covers or new insurance, then please contact your Coversure office by phone or email or via our website.
