Local employer, Coversure Insurance Services in Huntingdon, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national industry award at the UK Broker Awards for their outstanding training programme and investment in staff development.

Over the past year Coversure, which employs over 90 staff at its head office in Huntingdon, has introduced a series of learning and personal development programmes. These have aimed to enhance the professionalism and customer service skills of its staff, franchisees and managers in order to help them provide positive outcomes for their customers.
Track Record Of Training Success
Coversure’s commitment to training has already borne significant results. 32 staff are currently studying for their industry qualification, the Certificate In Insurance (Cert. CII), and a further 21 students are undertaking professional NVQ courses. In addition to this, Coversure have successfully supported staff applications to be accepted onto sponsored training courses, such as the Allianz Scholarship programme and the Axa Broker Future programme.
Coversure: ‘From Good to Great’
Coversure’s extensive training programme has devised in order to take the business from ‘Good to Great’. Coversure understand the importance of empowering business owners and staff by improving their skills, and this commitment has been recognised by the Awards’ judges.
The feedback from the Group’s insurance franchisees and staff has been phenomenally positive and has highlighted the strength of the teaching. The CEO of the Coversure Group, Bob Darling, said of the Cert. CII training:

The UK Broker awards will take place on the 15th September 2017 at the Brewery in London, and will be attended by many household name nominees such as Aviva and LV=.
