Coversure will be happy to help you with the promotion of your newly established business and we will provide various support services, including annual business clinics, during which we will discuss your progress in detail and implement a variety of marketing plans to help you achieve success.

Although the cost of all marketing and promotional activity is borne by the franchise holder Coversure provides a range of support services the cost of which is included in the monthly charge including;

Business planning and advice service including annual business clinic
PR in the form of local press releases
Corporate & compliance sign off service
Sourcing of data
Advertisement & mailing design service
Direct mail campaign set up
Telesales campaign set up
On-line marketing support manual
Branch web site design & hosting service (What do I get for this?)
Internet quote & buy facilities
Cross selling support services including bulk marketing letter facility

The full cost of a start up marketing campaign (£3000) is included in your initial investment and is normally used to fund a direct mail or telesales campaign targeting local businesses.

Marketing territory, Franchise area and where can you do business?

Insurance, particularly in the commercial arena, is a relationship led business. Accordingly, there are no restrictions placed by us on where your customers* are based. (* Except owner driver taxis)

You will be allocated a franchise area in which we agree we will not open another office without your prior consent. This area would normally be a 2 mile circle around your office (or one mile in certain densely populated cities) and will form part of your contract.

Additionally, every Coversure office is allocated a marketing area. This is designated by postcode and is an area exclusive to each franchise holder in which he/she is able to freely market clients on a direct basis, normally by direct mail, without let or hindrance from other branches. The marketing areas are reviewed on a quarterly basis and, if it is decided that after consultation a specific area is not being optimised by the franchise holder concerned it may be awarded to another branch. You cannot directly market within another branches marketing area.

Franchise Holders may apply for additional marketing areas once those originally awarded are thought to have been saturated. Additional marketing areas will not normally be given to any branch with a monthly GWP of less than £100,000 and will also be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
