There are not too many occasions when one company dominates an award category at a national industry award. However that’s exactly what Coversure Fleet have done at the UK Broker Awards for the past three years. Finalists last year, Coversure Fleet had won the award for the preceding two years in 2010 and 2011. Alex and his team offer their clients a personal concierge service and has often had to go out of his way to assist his more discerning customers.

Local Hornchurch based insurance broker; Coversure Insurance Services opened just over a year ago by local men David Larke and Paul Lloyd.
David and Pauls focus was to bring back the ‘local walk in’ High Street broker, which has dramatically vanished from town centres over the last decade and offer a service that was personal and professional.

Alex Cox has identified a niche and exploited it well. His unrelenting focus on true customer service and that willingness to go the extra mile has created a culture within the business that is well suited to looking after the insurance needs of its high net worth client base. As a 2010 winner of the Private Clients Intermediary of the Year award at the Insurance Age Awards, Coversure Fleet is clearly a well run business that does what it says on the tin and does it very well. This year Coversure Fleet won “Private Clients Intermediary of the Year” for the second year running. Since then Alex has developed a unique and exclusive Career Ending Injury Insurance designed with its private clients in mind.

Rajan Amin, co-owner of Coversure Insurance Services in Kennington with his wife Hina Amin, fought off thousands of entries to be short listed for the AAA Platinum award for Business Person of the Year at the Asian Achievers Awards at Club Wembley, Wembley Stadium in London. The Asian Achievers Awards is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the Asian business community and well respected by many. Many of Britain’s finest Asian business men and women were there as well as guest of honour the Right Honourable Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Coversure Insurance Services won the Website of the Year Award at the Huntingdonshire Business Awards in 2010. The company won the award thanks to their partners at Datamatters who built a site that enabled the business to secure more business using their easy to use quote and buy facility.

Understanding the unique needs of his client base is central to the service proposition that Alex and the team offer. This deep knowledge goes beyond understanding the best policies and service into seeing a gap in what is actually available. Over 90% of the policies placed are non-standard. This is because Alex and his team seek to fulfil client needs rather than simply sell policies. In addition to insuring close to £200m of clients assets Coversure Fleet covers, inter alia, career ending injury, events and liability.

Rajan has over 18 years experience within the financial and insurance services industry and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) holding a Certificate in Insurance. He has also completed and passed the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS) in November 2007 and was instrumental in the conception and development of a unique Landlord’s Rent Guarantee Insurance. Coversure Kennington invests heavily in training and staff development and all employees have either passed or are being put through their CII exams. Coversure has Coversure academy which is a training programme that staff are expected to commit 15 mins each day to.
