Cover includes:
- Damage to goods & tools whilst in the vehicle e.g. Road accident
- Damage to goods & tools whilst being loaded or unloaded from the vehicle e.g. goods or tools dropped whilst loading
- Loss of goods or tools following theft of or from the locked vehicle
- Hijack of the vehicle
- Loss of or damage to the Insured’s own ropes, sheets, chains, toggles and packing materials used to secure goods to the vehicle
- Theft of goods removed from the vehicle for safekeeping overnight in the Insured’s lockfast private dwelling house or lockfast garage
- Loss of or damage to the Insured’s employee’s personal effects whilst in the vehicle to a limit of £250.00
- Costs and expenses necessarily incurred in transferring to any vehicle and/or carrying to original destination or to place of collection the goods or tools following a collision, overturning or impact with any object
- Costs and expenses necessarily incurred in the removal of debris and site clearance consequent upon loss of or damage to the Subject Matter Insured up to a limit any one loss of £2,500.
- Goods & tools whilst in a vehicle when temporarily substituted for the specified vehicle whilst the specified vehicle is out of use for maintenance, repair or official vehicle testing or permanently substituted for the specified vehicle.
