Mohammed Hanif

Hanif came to the UK in 1977 and went to school for just over a year before starting work in a small engineering firm. He joined a new firm in 1983 as Machine Operator and progressed to foreman. He became Production Manager in 1989; 5 years later he took voluntary redundancy and changed his career direction towards the insurance industry.

Hanif first started trading under United Insurance Services as a sub agent for various brokers, writing a vast amount a taxi business. In 1999 Hanif was interested in the Coversure Franchise scheme and approached Nick Hollands, the Coversure Franchise Director which resulted in his opening the Coversure Luton office in 2000.

Mohammed Rafiq

Rafiq came to UK in 1972 and went to college for two years before moving onto Luton College of higher education where he studied and passed his A Levels.

Rafiq went on to study a Higher National Diploma in Accounts/computing and CIMA PS1. He worked in the accountancy environment from 1979 to 1992 and from 1992 he was employed as an office manager at United International travel and insurance services.

Rafiq then became a partner with Hanif at Coversure Luton in 2000.
