Coversure Insurance Kennington opened in 2003 and is part of and supported by a national group of over 85 insurance offices. We are able to provide suitable and sustainable insurance solutions for Individuals, Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. The Kennington office offers expert insurance advice in all areas of insurance – “we do it all”
Mark Coverdale our present Chairman opened the first Coversure office in Huntingdon back in 1986, his philosophy was simple, to use the most up to date technology available in order to provide the local community with a friendly, face-to-face, insurance broking service utilising competitively priced insurance products. During the intervening years Coversure has opened over 90 branch offices in locations throughout the UK and now commands a turnover of over £65M.
Coversure Insurance Services started in 1986 and the Kennington office opened in January 2003.

Mr. Rajan Amin Cert CII – Franchisee/Director – Insurance Advisor
Rajan has over 18 years experience in the Financial and Insurance services industry having started with Allied Dunbar in 1991. After a very successful 3 year period between 1997 and 2000 with a Commercial Insurance Broker he opened his first Coversure office in Wimbledon as a partnership.
In 2002 Coversure Kennington opened with the office ethos of client care and integrity in every area of the business. Rajan is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and holds a Certificate In Insurance. He has also completed and passed the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS) in November 2007.
Rajan has been involved with many business networks including Business Network International (BNI – Member at Wimbledon and Past Chapter Director @Battersea/Clapham), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and more recently with Business Link and Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Rajan is a firm believer of ‘givers gain’ thinking. In October 2006 Rajan joined Rotary Club of Balham following in his father's steps who has been a member for over 26 years. Rajan is eager to give something back to both the local and communities wider a field through this well respected and hardworking organisation.
In his spare time Rajan practices yoga, enjoys cinema, theatre and armchair leisure – TV! Now a mad golfer too with a handicap of 24.
Mr Mike Navaratnarajah Cert CII – Insurance Advisor
Mike has been in the Financial/Insurance Services industry for the past 16 years. He started his career at Eagle Insurance in Sri Lanka and moved on to Eagle Star International Life (Isle of Man) overseeing their Sri Lankan operations. Mike worked for Coversure Insurance Services from 2000–2002 and again from 2006.
Mike has an MBA in Strategic Marketing and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has Cert CII qualification. He has hands-on experience in strategy formulation and communication in b2b and b2c business environments. Mike has 7 years experience in account handling, broking, account management and business development.
Beyond Coversureland, Mike is the Trasurer of his local Church and also leads the Church Choir. He enjoys playing Guitar and the Congas. He thrives at being the “resource centre” amongst his family and friends and loves socialising and networking. He is a supporter of Manchester United football club.
Sheetal Goyal Cert CII (Claims) – Insurance & Claims Administrator
Sheetal has over nine years experience within Banking and Financial Industry and has worked with some of the leading brands in the market. She has also been actively involved the migration of a project (Outsourcing) and has hands on experience in Client Services, Debt Recoveries and Commercial Insurance gained within UK and in the overseas market.
She is BA (Hons.) English graduate and a CERT CII in Claims from Chartered Insurance Institute. She has gained formal training in quality/performance improvement and has been able to achieve improved results using various quality improvement matrices.
Beyond Coversure, Sheetal enjoys fashion designing and trying new recepies at home, she is a shopaholic and enjoys watching theatre and live performances.
Miss Monika Pik – Trainee Insurance Advisor
Monika joined the team in January 2010. She has two years’ experience within the Insurance industry. She started her career at Morton Insurance Brokers Ltd in London, dealing with Private Hire, Public Hire and Private Car Insurance. While working as a broker Monika was dealing with customers face to face and on the phone, giving them best quotation they were looking for.
She is responsible now for introducing Coversure to the Polish community, including taxi insurance. Monika has a Master of Science Diploma in Faculty of Environmental Engineering completed in Poland in 2004.
She believes that you can achieve anything if you really believe it. Her favorite writer is Paulo Coelho. Monika likes to spend with friends and listening to music. When the weather is nice she likes nothing more than taking to her bike.
Mr Steven Smith – Insurance Advisor
Steven started his insurance career straight from leaving school at 16 and has over 20 years experience in the broking sector of the industry with a wide range of expertise in both commercial and personal lines insurance.
Steven is sport-mad and is happy to “have a go” at almost everything sporting. Steven also enjoys swimming and the cinema and likes to spend his weekends walking….if there is no sport on television!
Mrs Hina Amin – Franchisee / Director
Hina is a Director at Coversure Kennington. Hina is an experienced manager with over twenty years in the IT industry and has worked in three of the world’s most rapidly changing industries, IT, telecoms and financial services, and has demonstrated her competence in managing the staffing, logistics and business challenges which face today’s business environments. Her main responsibilities at Coversure are recruitment, resourcing and appraisals. Hina also successfully manages a large property portfolio in the UK.
In her spare time Hina enjoys cooking, creative design, cinema, theatre, yoga, jogging and music. Hina is also a founder member of the Surya Foundation a registered charity with the sole aim of helping research into Diabetics www.suryafoundation.org.uk.
